Though, it appears the "check_asterisk_ami.sh' script: http://exchange.nagios.org/directory/Plugins/Telephony/Asterisk/check_asterisk_ami/details must have occurrences of "/bin/netcat" replaced with "nc" since AstLinux uses BusyBox.
