Rob, It is technically possible to give a net5501 setup 'surgery' to look like an 'alix' setup such that the latest 'alix' firmware could then be 'upgraded'. Not recommended, though. I don't have a checklist off the top of my head.
The most straightforward is to save a basic configuration via the web interface of the current net5501 setup, build an 'alix' flash from scratch, and then restore the basic configuration. Any asterisk sounds would need to be re-added, but that is simple. Unless you have some very special customizations, the above process is probably the best. Of course, don't over-write the old net5501 flash card, just in case :-) Lonnie On Sep 30, 2011, at 6:43 PM, Rob Hillis wrote: > On 01/10/11 02:01, Michael Keuter wrote: >> Am 30.09.2011 um 12:50 schrieb Rob Hillis: >>> I notice in this script that it looks at the command line for the type >>> of hardware it's running on. Why? It contains a definitive record of application performance, security threats, fraudulent activity, and more. Splunk takes this data and makes sense of it. IT sense. And common sense. http://p.sf.net/sfu/splunk-d2dcopy2 _______________________________________________ Astlinux-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/astlinux-users Donations to support AstLinux are graciously accepted via PayPal to [email protected].
