Lonnie, The CF card is a 4GB one; this is the same size as my existing card that is currently running AstLinux with Asterisk v1.4.
I retried your script (using a re-downloaded AstLinux VIA C7 non-serial), manually entering the commands at the CLI without sudo. Could there be a problem with the .Trashes and .Spotlight-V100 files that Mac adds auto-annoyingly?
