ops... That is true.
In that case before you dd you could backup:
/etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules
Than you can remove the file and than dd the CF over and it should be
recreated on the new image during boot.
After you are done with dd copy back over the 70-persistent-net.rules back
in place in the original CF.
Done.
