Hi David, DTMF issues can be tricky with all the interconnected parties involved. Usually your best choice is "rfc2833", while "info" (SIP Info) may also work and both are out-of-band signals. "inband" requires a uLaw/aLaw codec and some luck, not recommended. Pick one and disable all others.
AstLinux 1.0.1 should have the same Sangoma drivers as 0.7.x. If you upgrade and there are problems, simply revert *both* the firmware and RUNNIX via the System tab, and reboot, you should be back at your original 0.7.7. AstLinux 1.0.2 (when released) will have updated Sangoma drivers for DAHDI using libsangoma. While we always encourage users to upgrade to the latest, we can't test all possible hardware combinations, so while things should work fine, but be prepared to find and fix problems.
