Hi,

Related to using the new Custom Build Engine, I wanted to relay a tip that
might be generally useful.

Assume you have already upgraded to the standard "astlinux-1.0.2" but now have
built a custom version, the results of which is also version "astlinux-1.0.2".

$ upgrade-run-image check
http://build.astlinux.org/images/astlinux-1.0.2/c51dbd535b51295ff8630143e9b366da/ast18-firmware-1.x
You are running the newest available version: astlinux-1.0.2

You see the problem, upgrade-run-image won't let you "upgrade" since the
version numbers are the same.

Simple solution, first "revert":

$ upgrade-run-image revert
Current version is now: astlinux-1.0.1 [after reboot]

Note: 128MB RAM net4801 and wrap boards require a "reboot" at this point.

Now check and upgrade...

$ upgrade-run-image check
http://build.astlinux.org/images/astlinux-1.0.2/c51dbd535b51295ff8630143e9b366da/ast18-firmware-1.x
Current version is: astlinux-1.0.1 [after reboot], Newest available version
is: astlinux-1.0.2

$ upgrade-run-image upgrade
http://build.astlinux.org/images/astlinux-1.0.2/c51dbd535b51295ff8630143e9b366da/ast18-firmware-1.x
Successful upgrade to: astlinux-1.0.2

Now make your custom "astlinux-1.0.2" image active...

$ reboot

I have used this technique for years during testing, and found it very useful.

Lonnie
