I have a bit of a problem here with backups: I have a number of phone firmware loads in the tftpboot directory along with phone configuration files. Unfortunately the only backup options for this directory is all /mnt/kd which ends up at around 16M in my situation. Thats not actually the biggest issue but that I cannot actually restore this file. I get a 413 - Request Entity Too Large error. It works fine with a basic backup and restore.
Some of the possible solutions could be: 1) Dont keep firmware loads in the /tftpboot directory - this will be a bit of a pain! 2) Modify the WebGUI basic upgrade file list to include /tftpboot/*.cfg - messy and not extensible 3) Maybe some sort of a backup filter e.g. separated by ~ in the Prefs 4) Use rsync and forget the WebGUI or maybe script it 5) Another better idea I haven't thought of Actually just a quick one while talking about scripts. Where should I make additional startup script changes (after everything else is done)?
