Hi Jimmy,

When we moved to the AstLinux 1.0.x build system we were able to get a snapshot
of freeswitch-2011-10-18 to compile and build. That is as far as the
FreeSWITCH testing has gone.

Before we could build standard FreeSWITCH images or add to build.astlinux.org,
we need an AstLinux contributor that can focus on FreeSWITCH. If this
challenge interests anyone (and have the skills), please comment on the
astlinux-devel list to help get started.

The Soekris (net5501) board is automatically supported as well as generic x86
boards such as Jetway Atom boards (among others), regardless of the version of
Asterisk or FreeSWITCH.

So to answer your question, you would have to build your own custom image
following:
http://doc.astlinux.org/devdoc:documentation

and enable FreeSWITCH and disable Asterisk. Start with astlinux18.conf then
make those changes.
