Battery life is excellent with Acrobits (I use Groundwire), not mentioning the 
many additional features and 'Hacks' that it provides. I don't notice much 
difference with it backgrounded. PS. You must use TLS or TCP for backgrounding 
to be effective.
It also allows you to do an attended transfer which I could not see how to do 
with Bria.
