Michael,

The default configuration of the firewall (Arno's Iptables Firewall):

EXT -> LAN/DMZ/Local all blocked.

LAN -> EXT all allowed.

LAN-> Local all allowed.

LAN -> DMZ (if enabled) all allowed.

LAN1 -> LAN2, etc. (inter LAN) all blocked.

DMZ -> EXT all allowed.

DMZ -> LAN/Local all blocked.

I think that covers all the permutations.

So, what doesn't work for you?
