The WebGUI is pretty much hard coded to display the CDR the way it does. A
couple of years ago I extensively "improved" the CDR page but Lonnie
ultimately decided to "keep it simple" and only took a couple of the tweaks
I suggested. I can't remember everything I did but certainly one of the
things I toyed around with was the idea of looking into the AstDB for a
CallerID name associated with an outbound destination number. I even had a
reverse-lookup (for US numbers through whitepages.com) that displayed as a
popup if you hovered over a phone number.
I'm not keen to resurrect all that work unless there is a lot of interest
from users -- and buy-in from the devs that it would not be wasted effort.
