It's good idea. In future it will be better to add to astlinux full ghostscript (pdf2tiff) and fetchmail (pop3/imap client) :) It will be easy tu make fax2mail / mail2fax machine.
At this time it's easy tu run fax2mail machine (ReceiveFax + tiff2pdf + smtp). Mail2fax is more difficult because I must receive mail in fax mailbox via fetchmail (pdf attachements) on another host, convert pdf to tiff and transfer it to asterisk gateway. Maybe someone have easier way to do mail2fax on astlinux machine (only). Another option is pop3/imap client in php + cron and tiff attachements only, but pdf i more convenient.
