I am running Cisco CP-7965G with Astlinux. Very reliable and works well.

Subject: [Astlinux-users] Cisco 7940 phones
Greets All,
Believe it or not, FreePBX-2.10 is kinda getting on my nerves.
Before upgrading(?) from Trixbox to FreePBX distro, I was using the 7940
phones just fine. Worked wonderful. However, even after first trying to
use the auto-configure engine, and then straight copying related configs
from the Tribox server to the FreePBX server, the phones give all kinds
of parsing errors. Even then, FreePBX still modifies the configs I
uploaded.
I'm an Ubuntu Linux User, and FreePBX being CentOS, this doesn't end
working out so well. I think I am leaning towards moving everything over
to the Astlinux Router, and redoing the FreePBX server to Ubuntu.
So, what are folks comments and experiences with using 7940 phones with
Astlinux?
~Benjamin
