I had issues when making calls between test phones, audio only one way, both
phones have several options ulaw, alaw 723 711 etc. sip conf with the same
options, so have now restricted the sip conf to only have ulaw and it seems my
audio issue has gone away?
I can now hear ringtone in one when the other is ringing and visa versa.
Audio is now both ways.
Is it normal to get this issue?
The phones are old Grandstream units well past any support going back to early
2000's so have ordered a couple of current units to see if things improve and
give me a bit more to mess with, without resorting to soft phones.
Are there any users of astlinux in the UK getting these messages as I would
like to know what you have achieved with your pbx's when used in a home
environment.
Adrian
