I have to an extent got what I like on my home Astlinux pbx, I have an account
with sipgate for cheaper mobile calls and other numbers.

The standard BT line into the house now is connected to a Linksys SPA3102,
that took some digging trying to understand all the variables, but incoming
calls are routed back to the existing DECT phone, via the FXS socket.

The DECT has it's own answering machine so no voice mail is provided for that.
I have a couple of Sip phones on the network and sipgate comes in to one of
these, voice mail takes over after a while. What I would like to do is
replace the installed sounds with a UK version, replacing 'Pound key with Hash
key'

Where I am confused with is all the installed sounds are .PCM on my Astlinux
box, some of the free UK based ones are .g711u, or .WAV would I have to do a
convertion or change the file types?

Thanks for any advice

Adrian
