Hi Stefan, I think I speak for the AstLinux team saying we have no plans to stray from the x86 architecture we now support. While supporting the ARM architecture is theoretically possible with our build system, it is not as simple as creating an alternate ARM toolchain to compile with.

Our next release of AstLinux (1.2.0) will support the Atom C2000 NIC's and AES-NI instruction.
