Bria uses either XMPP or SIP Simple for presence. Asterisk can not use SIP 
Simple for presence (to my knowledge).
There are some XMPP functions (JabberXXX) in Asterisk, you would need to map 
the SIP user-account to a XMPP-JID, which could be done with the included 
SQL-database.

I think I will tweak FOP2 a bit for speeddial buttons (with local extensions) 
and use this.
