It would seem 2015 will be the year for Intel Atom C2000 (Avoton / Rangeley)
hardware being available.

The Atom C2000 SoC offers 2/4/8 CPU core versions, AES-NI, server grade NIC's
and no video... perfect for AstLinux.

The Lanner USA folks informed me that the 4x NIC (no bypass) FW-7525B Atom
C2358 Fanless Appliance is now available in production for $307 USD per unit
for the barebone, optional $13 SSD kit with SATA cable. A stick of RAM and
flash storage is additional. More info here...

I have been testing the Lanner FW-7525A (6x NIC's w/bypass) with AstLinux for a
few months, the FW-7525B (4x NIC's w/o bypass) should be the better match for
AstLinux and available now.

Coming down the road in 2015 is a series of boards by "ADI Engineering"
http://www.adiengineering.com and sold by Netgate in the US...

Production Boards

The ADI/Netgate boards have RAM and 4GB eMMC flash on board, so add a power
supply and case to the above prices and you have an AstLinux solution (in
theory). If the onboard 4GB eMMC is not enough then a mSATA/SATA SSD can be
added.

Of course until the ADI/Netgate boards are shipping and can be tested with
AstLinux, we don't know for sure, but the Netgate folks are behind pfSense
which has similar hardware requirements as AstLinux.
