Yes, I've  tried  to setup a custom build the other day.
I must tell you it doesn't work with CentOS 6.6 - I'm afraid.
I can't remember where it stopped working, but I see huge differences
in size with asterisk modules...
My "simple" plan was to copy the pbx_lua across to my APU1C box...

I'm  sharing  your  concern,  but  this  is with every software on the
market.  We aren't immune against a flaw in a software solution.

I  wanted to give it a "try" which language was more suitable to me...
AEL or LUA...
Maybe the community could provide her/his experiences which language
is more suitable for Asterisk - or not...
