A friend is a recent convert to AstLinux and posed a question to me that is 
well above my paygrade
Probably very simple for many, but not I.

Q: This is the Linux alias.  There are a bunch of "canned" command lines I like 
to store but Astlinux doesn't retain such things.
Normally it goes in the .bashrc file in the user's home directory but it 
doesn't stay there after I reboot.

Anyone?
