Hi Paul,

We have never built "wanpipemon" in the wanpipe package.

Is it important to you ?

We only build select Sangoma tools, but I did a quick test and it
seems wanpipemon can be built via our build system. It would add
about a 200K binary.

Interesting to know someone using Sangoma hardware in AstLinux, the
developers here often wonder how common this is.

Hello,

Was wanpipemon ever provided with Astlinux? I installed the generic
i586 version and can't seem to find it.

Thanks,

PDW
Hi Paul,

I don't know what the exact output was, but have you tried "wanrouter
summary" instead.
I remember I had this defined as command in the WebGUI Prefs for
"DAHDI Status" a long time ago.
Update: I reenabled it on a test-box, and this is the output of
"wanrouter summary":

Michael,

Thanks for the info. The wanpipemon information I am looking for shows
such things as linc code violations, bit errors, frame errors, sync
errors and receive level. If that information is available elsewhere,
perhaps I wouldn't need it.

Regards,

PDW
Aah, OK understand. A bit like the "dahdi_tool" command.

Darn! I always used dahdi_tool to check on the status of a specific
channel. I totally forgot that it also gives the error counts.

Alas, everything looks perfect with no errors of any type.

Thanks for all the help,

PDW

BTW: "dahdi show status" in the WebGUI also shows some useful stuff (e.g. Alarms) for wanpipe cards (in this case a Sangoma B700 card + a HFC-S card).

OK, thanks. I just tried it out. I'm slowly learning that everything is working perfectly but the noise is still there. ;-(
