I forgot something: when using a DSL connection (with PPPoE) I run a script via cron at 03:00 AM that restarts PPPoE and DynDNS to avoid DSL reconnects during the day. You may need to define a e.g. "PPPOE_RESTART_DELAY=160" in your "user.conf" to work with your ISP.
