I haven't yet bought an apu2 however the original I bolt to a vented 1u
rack shelf using short screws and the bottom holes in the case.. My 2 stress
boxes have been running for several months using a customized tester which
places, answers, disconnects , etc calls.. The Aastra phones even answer and
perform operations.. I'm running regular asterisk 11.20 and centos 6.6,
keeping a CPU load of 1.0 - 1.5 constantly .. Thus far neither have crashed and
neither have needed rebooted due to lock up.. My ambient temp is 85-90 on
average which simulates the bad conditions of phone switch rooms we deal with..
My case temperature is usually around 100 - 105 or so f, I likely have a bad
driver loaded for lm as I get a relative scale so my readings are bogus.. I am
waiting a bit to buy an apu2 in case there are some hardware updates he needs
to make to the boards. I'm anxious to see how it performs in comparison to
the apu1 boards.
