So there is a use case for it. But I don't think it belongs in Astlinux. While it works perfectly well it is a huge binary (relative to the norm for Astlinux). I had experimented with it to backup some content of my NAS to off site cloud storage and thought it would be cool to have astlinux act as the copying agent with rclone. But in the end I decided that was not the place for it.
