Sorry Lonnie no I haven’t tried it yet.
Thick is pre allocating all disk storage whereas Thin is allocating on demand.

I want to allocate 20G for each Astlinux box but as I am looking at utilising 
R1Soft backups with my provider I want to have the minimum size disk space 
allocation and not just back up zero's.
