Hi Peter,

flashrom is a package for custom builds, but we don't include it in the 
standard builds.

If you want, I could build and create a flashrom-1.1.tar.gz for you to use. If 
yes, are you using the 64-bit genx86_64-serial image ?  Let me know.

But in general, if your BIOS is working it is usually best to leave as is.
