Yes, this is possible and it works well. You need to inject the javascript into 
the DOM, and then from java do a setURL() to your script.

For the other direction (javascript back to java), we created a simple DOM 
monitor that looks for and acts on the presence of certain attributes that get 
set dynamically through javascript.
