I have a QCA9888 Compex WLE650V5-18 that runs just fine on i386 kernels but
ath10k seems to be causing a kernel panic on boot with x86_64 kernels. Log is
below. I've tried multiple firmware versions from kvalo and candelatech but my
google-fu couldn’t find a solution. Any thoughts or suggestions?

You need the patch that changes how DMA memory is allocated. It is in the 4.13
kernel,
and also in the 4.9 kernel linked from the CT firmware page.
