We're desparately waiting for really free drivers for that chipset,
because it's built into 100s of thousands of EEEpcs. As it happens, the
madwifi drivers doesn't work quite as well as the Atheros driver
provided by Atheros themselves in the default Xandros distribution that
comes with the computer - you can't connect to certain distant APs using
madwifi, but it works well with the Xandros non-standard drivers.

Is there anything we can do to help development? Would it be helpful to
raise the money for an EEEpc or two for the developers to play with? It
really is a nice piece of hardware.

Best,
Paulus
