Hi,
During the installation of Debian Lenny 5.0 from dvd iso (Debian GNU/Linux
5.0.0 "Lenny" - Official i386 DVD Binary-1 20090214-16:54) on my laptop without
connection an ethernet card to a network and after successfully installation.
I've attempted install a driver for my wireless card (Atheros AR5007EG) from
www.madwifi-project.org (madwifi-hal-0.10.5.6-current) and my box doesn't see
the wireless card correctly just like wifi0 with a mac address 00...
BUT doing the same installation as above with connection an ethernet card to a
network I got a wirless card working fine as ath0.
It's looks like the madwifi wireless driver need activation on plug in wire to
the ethernet card. (not make sense?)
I don't know where is the bug I just report the bug.
