A new experimental version already supports AR5007. It's currently available as patched compat-wireless: http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/people/mickflemm/compat-wireless-2008-07-03-ath5k.tar.bz2 I hope it will go to the kernel soon. I think it's a safe bet that Linux 2.6.28 will support AR5007. > As well are there any plans to use the hardware encryption > capabilities of some Atheros chipsets for accelerating aes encryption > in kernel? I think it would be one of the high priority tasks once all hardware is supported. -- Regards, Pavel Roskin _______________________________________________ ath5k-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ath5k.org/mailman/listinfo/ath5k-users
