Hello.

I've been using madwifi 0.9.4 for some time now, and it worked ok.

I recently compiled Linux kernel 2.6.27.7, and now ath_pci has gone,
replaced by ath5k.

I used to start my wifi link with 'wlanconfig ath0 destroy' to set it up;
now ath0 has disappeared, replaced by wlan0.

However, doing 'wlanconfig wlan0 destroy' gives

wlanconfig: ioctl: No such device

I can see things with 'iwlist wlan0 scan', so I guess the wifi works in some
way.

I had two laptops that communicated through an Ad-hoc network, but now I
can't get them to see each other: none of them appears in the 'iwlist wlan0
scan' of the other.

I'd like help and guide lines about all this: how to make ath5k work now?

Thanks.
