I did exactly what the link says: "Kernel panics are kernel bugs, and should be reported immediately. Kernel hangs are usually kernel bugs as well and should be reported too. If you can, you should try to determine whether the bug persists in the latest vanilla stable linux release. Vanilla stable kernel means you got it from kernel.org and it is a stable kernel." I tested with the latest vanilla stable linux release (2.6.34), and it still happens. I also tested with compat-wireless. There is nothing else I can do, as there are no messages even after enabling debugging information in ath9k, the system just hangs without any messages. I'm using a soekris net5501 with this network card: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230393634203 I tested with different instances of the same hardware (I have 5 systems with their respective atheros cards), and it always happens. If there is anything specific that you would like me to do to solve this bug, please let me know and I'll do my best.
