I would like to log ath9k device transitions between power states — transmit, awake, full sleep, network sleep, etc. Can someone suggest the easiest way to do this? Kernel logging seems like it would work but might produce a lot of output. I was considering creating a file under /sys/kernel/debug/ath9k/phy0 but am wondering about the overheads involved, particularly on timing-sensitive paths.
