Without a doubt IMHO Orthogon's algorithms for dynamic frequency selection are the high water mark and they did it years ago. Unlike many very simple implementations, Orthogon continuously monitors the spectrum for the next channel set to be used if necessary. I also dunno how well protected the algorithm is nor how well it is documented, but IT WORKS. There may be almost enough information in the original Orthogon marketing literature ...
