Hi Oleksij, Great! I'll start looking into adding support for the ath9k_htc driver.
@Abhinav The current code for the spectral scan feature supports the ath9k driver but doesn't yet support the ath9k_htc driver used by Atheros USB-based chipsets. As Oleksij suggested, to support this feature for the ath9k_htc based devices, the common functionality can be moved to ath9k-common and then the ath9k_htc specific driver hooks need to be added. In the long term, this can enable wider usability of this feature through Atheros USB cards. For example, on the Android platform which uses this driver code from the upstream Linux kernel. Feel free to let me know, if this sounds good.
