Hi! I read all over the Internet reports of ATH9K cards disconnecting by themselves at various intervals.
I have the AWUS036NHA USB card which has the AR9271 chip, and on the 3.10 kernel I experience disconnects as frequently as at less than 1-second intervals! It would be great if you could give your perspective on how to make an ATH9K device remain plugged in even if there'd be some adverse condition such as bad WIFI signal. Can you please share your perspective on this? For instance, reading off the Internet, it seems certain Linux kernel versions are better, it's best to turn off power management, disable the "network monitor" program if around. USB power is 2.5W so should never be an issue. Any more parameter to consider? Thanks, Mikael
