Gigi,

I have been using the Olympus VS 50 digital recorder for the
past couple of years and find it to be an excelant recorder. I would assume
that newer model that replaces this model would be just as good or even better.

I’m not sure what you will be using the recorder for, but if it is for voice
recording then you won’t be disappointed. If it is for live music, you will
need to experiment with the placement of the recorder to get the best results.
There are also some settings on the digital recorder that will give you better
results.

I’m not sure if the accessories mentioned on Amazon come with the recorder or
not. You may need to contact Amazon for that answer.

I used my digital recorder to record a seminar a few weeks ago and you can
listen to the results here:

Subject: [ATI] Comments Requested RE: Olympus Digital Voice Recorder DM-520

Hello, Everyone ~

A friend recommended the Olympus Digital Voice Recorder. I'm asking for
comments about it, from those of you who use it.

He sings, as do I, and, that will primarily be its use for me. He says he
likes the quality for the price. Please feel free to offer anything and
everything. Even if you have suggestions for a different recorder.

On Amazon, there are pics of it with all the accessories, i.e., case,
rechargeable batteries, etc. However, nowhere does it state those items
included with the device. So, if you have clarification on that, it will also
be very welcome.

My e-mail address is just below my signature.

Your assistance is much appreciated.

Happy Thanksgiving!! SMILE!
