have you restarted jaws?
try maximizing the window too. but yeah, thats strange.

Hi everyone,
For some reason my JAWS is suddenly only reading the first letter of
people's first and last names when I arrow up and down through the list of
messages in my inbox. I'm using JAWS 12. I'm having no problems with
other
programs and JAWS, and when I open any e-mail message JAWS reads the body
of
the message just fine. Any ideas?
