Thanks Chuck, voice over I have seen on the iphone very cool. But if I'm on the bus or train coming home from work, I still want to be able to texts my kids or husband with the keyboard. If I'm home the talk will be very cool.

Blind Cool Tech Podcasts 1542 and 1550 cover all of the ins and outs of Androids. Each carrier does carry at least one choice with a keyboard, and yes, there are a ton of apps, free and otherwise, for the Android. If you are used to the IPhone, but the Android phone are quite accessible. Google does have an accessibility tab that will allow you to install Talkback, a screenreader that is pretty good from what I have observed. The problem there is not yet a really good accessible web browser unless you spend the $95 for the Mobile Accessibility suite from Code Factory. I personally don't have a phone, but an Android phone will be my next phone. Like you, Molly, I truly feel like I want and need a keyboard. I know the IPhone screen if fully accessible with Voice Over, but this is a personal preference for me. Hope this helped.
