Tell me when is your session over on that couch? ----- Original Message ----- From: Starner, Alicia M. <mailto:[email protected]> To: 'Adaptive technology <mailto:[email protected]> information and support.' Sent: Friday, September 02, 2011 6:14 PM Subject: Re: [ATI] Word 2007 and JAWS question Steve, Ugh! That would freak me out! I did get the help I needed from a few JAWS guru's that were willing to type out the steps for me and some APA wizards in the writing lab at my school. The experience gave me great insight into why the APA format exists. One fine day there was a psychologist that got very bored and decided that he was going to give his students grief. To do this, he wrote a bunch of rules about how their paper was supposed to be written, and suddenly he wasn't bored. He either had students in his office asking for help with their paper or asking for professional help as they sat on his sofa. LOL! I think I was one of the ones laying on the sofa saying, "Mr. Professor, I have had a terrible day truying to figure out how to format this dreaded paper for my sociology course. I read and read and then Word didn't cooperate. Now I am here to ask your professional opinion. Am I sane or insane? Do I have a few screws loose or are they all a little loose. Ugh!" LOL! You got to love writing those APA papers in college. Alicia, the insane social work student _____ _______________________________________________ ATI (Adaptive Technology Inc.)
