Steve,

 

                Certainly not off topic.  What you are wanting to do can be
accomplished but most likely it will take additional software and equipment
to do it.  Or you may find a company that will do it for you.

I would suggest going to Google and do a search for, convert 35 mm to
digital, and see what you come up with.

Hello,  I'm not sure is this is appropriate for this list but I didn't know
where else to start.

I am looking for a way to convert 35 millimeter slides into a digital
picture that can be stored and worked with on a computer.

I would appreciate any help or advice on this subject.
