Good point, John.
One other thing I forgot to say earlier. If you are going to use Twitter, you
will be about 1,000 times better off if you use one of the accessible desktop
Twitter clients. Qwitter is what I use, but there are some more up-to-date
clients these days.

I think a lot depends on how much or how little you want to do. I don't use
Twitter but I do use Facebook. However, I found the main FB site complicated
and hard to navigate with a lot of stuff I just didn't care about, so I went
to facebook mobile, www.m.facebook.com. It is fairly easy to use. It is very
stripped-down but that is fine for me. It doesn't have all of the games and
extra stuff but I am not interested so I don't care. It also doesn't have
ads, which is fine with me. I just want to read and post messages. If you
want the full Facebook menu with all of its features and possibilities you
may feel that this option limits you but if you just want to keep up with
friends, I think it is the way to go. John

Peter:
Some of the user interface for Twitter and Facebook is difficult, but you
can overcome most of it. For getting started particularly on Facebook, if
you can get some sighted assistance you'll be ahead of the game. Getting
photos up, sizing them, etc is virtually impossible for us to do. But, you
need to do this if you want to have a successful site.

Greetings:
During the next several weeks, I will be entering the world of social
media (primarily Facebook and Twitter) using JAWS. I am looking for any
"tips for beginners" to make this process as easy as possible. Since NBP
has discontinued its book on the topic, I am also wondering if there are
any basic primers currently available to help with this.
Many thanks, Peter
