  Hi,

Are you using an antenna to pick up the Sirius XM signal? Or does your XM
receiver get it’s signal from their web site using your wireless network
connection? If so then what is probably happening is the download takes too
much of your band width to sustain an optimal stream for the signal. This
would cause it to buffer or drop out entirely until the downloads complete.

Here is something very strange for you all to try to figure out. I have an XM
satelite radio tuner which is not connected in any way to my computer. It runs
through a Bose radio and is across the room from our computer. If I am
listening to it and download a book from the BARD site, the signal on the XM
receiver completely goes away. It fades away when I start downloading and comes
back as soon as the downloading process ends. This has happened often enough
that I am sure it is not a coincidence. Any ideas what is going on here? John
  GO CARDS!!!!
