or if you want to use the skype client which in my opinion is a bit too much
unless ya wanna chat with fb friends there are scripts at
http://dlee.org/skype
there's a self installer too. in fact it works well and does the installation
of skype watch for you which announces skype status changes for contacts.
He even has guides and other resources on his site there too to help you out as
well.

Get gw connect put out by GW Micro, and it will work just fine. You can use
jaws with it even though it’s put out by the Windoweyes people.
