All,
On our next MCB Connect we will be presenting the candidates
for office that we will be voting on during our next convention. I encourage
as many of you as possible to participate in this candidate forum so you can
hear each candidate's platform. We will take time to allow questions that you
might have and give each candidate an opportunity to respond to that question.
If you are a candidate for any of the offices we will be
voting on, I hope that you will join us in order to give people the opportunity
to know you better.
The offices that are up for election are the president, first
and second vice president and secretary. If you feel you would like to run for
one of these offices, please announce your candidacy and join us on that
evening.
The MCB Connect will be on Monday evening, September 17 at

I realize that the date had been changed to the 24th., but it
has worked out that we can still have it on the third Monday which will be
September 17.

To date we have two candidates for president, Patty Shonlau
and Janelle Edwards. There are three candidates for first vice president,
DeAnna Noriega, Brian Hallows and Nick Whitney. There is one candidate for
second vice president Mike Keller and I am not sure about the secretary's
position. Again, if you would like to run for one of these positions, please
announce your candidacy and join us on September 17 at 7:00 PM.
