automatically adds them to the ITunes library. The ITunes media folder is under music on Windows Vista or 7, or My Music in XP. Then you have to arrow down to your phone on the tree view, tab to the radio button for books and check that, then tab to sync.

Point it at the files and they should be added to the library. Then sync your phone and they should automatically transfer to your phone.
