AT least we will have some sense of humor at the board meetings.

Well, according to the September Chronicle Candidate's Corner, Jannell is
running for Secretary but that can't be right since she is running for
President. Maybe it's Mortimer. John

      Dear Denny Mr. President:
I am confused as to why all of the other candidates have been proud to
announce their candidacy for the positions available for elections this year
ahead of the MO Connect call tomorrow night.

I, as many others, would appreciate an announcement NOW as to who
exactly this person is that wants to run for Secretary.

In doing so we all have time to prepare our questions. In addition, maybe
someone else will step up to the plate if they do not find this person to be
acceptable for the integrity of MCB.
Thank you for your consideration in this matter.
      Sincerely,
      Anne Murphy

      All,

This is a reminder about the MCB Connect tomorrow night
when we will be presenting the candidates for office that we will be voting on
during our next convention. I encourage as many of you as possible to
participate in this candidate forum so you can hear each candidate's platform.
We will take time to allow questions that you might have and give each
candidate an opportunity to respond to that question.

If you are a candidate for any of the offices we will be
voting on, I hope that you will join us in order to give people the opportunity
to know you better.

The offices that are up for election are the president,
first and second vice president and secretary. If you feel you would like to
run for one of these offices, please announce your candidacy and join us on
that evening.

The MCB Connect will be tomorrow evening, September 17 at
7:00 PM. The number to call is: (712) 432-6100

      Passcode: 129071#.

If you don't have unlimited long distance you can call me
before that evening and let me know that you would like to be connected to the
conference. My number is: (888) 362-1383.

To date we have two candidates for president, Patty
Shonlau and Janelle Edwards. There are three candidates for first vice
president, DeAnna Noriega, Brian Hallows and Nick Whitney. There is one
candidate for second vice president Mike Keller and there will be at least one
candidate announcing her candidacy tomorrow night for the position of
secretary. Again, if you would like to run for one of these positions, please
announce your candidacy and join us tomorrow evening at 7:00 PM.

      Thanks!
