Thanks, Joe. It is my son's I pod and I am sure the ten year old can do it but does not want it to talk
so how do you turn it off once I try it...
I am going to get the fifith generation when it comes out

Hi Ann if you did not get an answer to this question here is what to do. With your iPod connected to your computer go to iTunes go to devices and find your iPod. On the summary tab tab over until you find configure Universal access.and hit spacebar.
Check the voiceover radio button now tab to okay and press the spacebar.
You will be prompted that this will change the gestures tab to continue and press spacebar. Voiceover should start. If you have someone with sight you can go on your iPod to settings, general, accessability voiceover I hope this helps you. Joe
