I have never tried the online service. I only use it on my IPhone and IPad.
Once the buttons across the bottom of the screen were labeled it was fairly
easy to navigate.

What I like about the online service is each ball team is assigned their own
channel. Plus you get the local announcers even if it's an away game.

I don't have to try and figure out which channel the Cardinals are on each
series and I always get to hear Mike and John announcing. The only thing I
don't like about it is that the game is about a half inning behind real
time.

I basically had to fool with it quiet a bit. I had to speak with their
technicians several times, however, when I learned where the edit boxes
were, it was slightly easier. I did order the tabletop radio, so it has
been a while since I have used the computer, but I use JAWS #13, and a
little experimentation, I was able to enter the channel number I wanted, and
now, after that channel is selected, if you navigate to the bottom of the
screen, it will read artist and title of the song current playing. Since
Denny has the online service, he may have even better suggestions, as I now
mostly use the tabletop instead of going to the site, but I will try to
check it out again, or e-mail Denny off-line to see what he suggests.

It is my understanding the online service is totally inaccessible to screen
reading software. That is unless something has drastically changed? Would
you talk about your experience with it?

Because of the problems with reception in my apartment, I have signed up
with their online service, which actually offers more channels, but I don't
know if you have to have the receiver, in other words, if you can get the
subscription without having purchased the receiver. That doesn't apply to
us, as we also have the service in our car.

I have been a member for a goodly number of years. About a year back the
reception began to get irregular. As I recall this occurred at about the
time that they raised the rates and joined up with another firm. After some
discussions with them I cancelled my subscription and went back to our local
KERA station in Dallas. Not as much selection but good signal strength.

I would be interested in hearing from any of you who have xm satelite radio
regarding any reception issues you have had with home units and how you have
resolved them. I have been an xm subscriber for several years and have had
reasonably good reception with the antenna in my home office, even though
there is no south facing window. At times the reception was intermittent but
it has worked fairly well most of the time. However. for the past few
months, my reception has been terrible. Some days, good reception, but most
days no signal at all or a signal so poor that I can't listen to it. Nothing
has changed in the environment as far as I can tell. I have talked several
times with the tech people and none of their suggestions has helped. I have
tried different locations for the antenna with no success and also exchanged
the units a couple of times. It did work for a while in the bedroom in a
south facing window but I don't want to use it there. So have any of you had
more problems than usual with the signal lately? Have any of you tried
mounting the antenna outside or if so, did it make a difference. As much as
I like the programming, I am about to give up on it and cancel the service
since I am certainly not getting what I am paying for. John
